The Atmosphere and Decor
When you first walk into the restaurant, you will notice they have used natural wood for the tables and chairs. This gives 904 Restaurant a bit of a farm feel.
The kitchen is open, which allows you to smell the delicious food cooking from the minute you walk in. They do have a separate bar area with a few large televisions for catching the big game.
Since this is a farm-to-table restaurant, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that they have an herb tree full of fresh herbs. They also provide fresh herbs on some of the larger tables, along with a fresh flower on each table throughout the restaurant.
Along the largest wall, the restaurant has many jars of jams, jellies, pickles, sauces and other items. There are two sizes, which sell for $5 and $7. All of these jars come from homemade recipes and many are used in the dishes provided on the seasonal menu at 904 Restaurant.
Most farm-to-table restaurants might as well be classified as fine dining because of the high cost. However, 904 Restaurant provides fine farm-to-table meals at affordable prices. A couple can dine at the restaurant without breaking their budget.
Appetizers are about $10 each, while entrees range from $10 to $20. All pints of beer are just $5 and there are plenty of affordable wines by the glass to choose from, as well.

904 Restaurant is located at 1289 Penman Road in Jacksonville Beach. They are open from 11:30am to 9pm, Sunday through Tuesday, from 11:30am to 9:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday and from 11:30am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
